I recently found myself unemployed in this great recession period! So what do I do? Of course get online and update my resume and "get myself out there". I apply for jobs that I honestly have no understanding of what it actually entails, but I feel confident that I'll learn.
Days turn into weeks and so on, but I find myself going to interview after interview. To my dismay, no second interviews or I'm labeled overqualified. Then I have a break, two company's want to hire me. One is for a marketing firm that I soon found out is a door to door sales company. Next I find a bank that is overseas and wants me to do transfers for them. Seems simple so I accept, a few months behind on my car payment, groceries are almost non-existent seem to be the contributing factors of my desperation.
Well let me tell you, as of today I am currently -$900,000 in my bank account. There is a hold from the fraud department at my bank and the bank that "employed" me reversed all of the bank transfers after I had withdrawn them and wired them to an account of their choosing.
Talk about from bad to worse! Something has to change!
